How does myScribe capture my meetings?
Three ways: send the myScribe notetaker bot into any Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams call (paste a link, or let it auto-join from your connected calendar); record live in the app for in-person conversations; or import existing audio and video files. Everything lands in the same searchable library.
What actually happens after a meeting ends?
Within minutes you get a full transcript with named speakers, an AI summary, and every commitment extracted as a task with a suggested owner, priority, and due date. You review, tweak, and they flow straight into your task boards. You can also get a push notification the moment it’s ready.
Can it really answer questions about old meetings?
Yes, that’s the memory part. Scribe chat searches across all your transcripts, tasks, and notes and answers in plain English: "What did we quote the client in March?", "What’s still open from the offsite?" You get the answer plus where it came from.
What happens when my free minutes run out?
The free plan includes 60 recording minutes each month. Pro is $17/month or $163/year for 1 user, with 4 recording hours a month; additional recording time on paid plans is $0.07/minute. Free live recordings stop and save at the monthly limit.
What exactly is the AI Employee plan?
It’s one seat, meant to be used with your own AI agent: Claude, ChatGPT, OpenClaw, Hermes or another assistant, running in the cloud or on your own computer. You connect it to myScribe with an API key, and myScribe gives it context and hands: it reads your meetings, creates and assigns tasks, comments inside tasks with full project awareness, and you can watch it work on a live AI Kanban. It’s $149/month or $1,600/year for 1 seat with 12 recording hours a month. Additional users are $20/month each.
Is my data private?
Your recordings and transcripts are encrypted in transit and at rest (AES-256), access-controlled per workspace, and never sold or used for advertising. You can delete recordings, and your account, at any time.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription any time from the in-app billing portal; you keep access through the end of your billing period. The free plan is free forever.
