The AI token pool, Pro chat turns, and voice minutes
AI token pool
- One monthly pool of AI tokens shared by the whole organisation (input + output added together). Pro: 300,000. AI Employee: 10,000,000. Free and Pro (Legacy): zero.
- It is consumed by AI titles, summaries, task extraction, chat with a meeting, in-task AI, the workspace assistant: essentially every AI surface except AI-Employee "Pro chat" (which has its own turn allowance).
- Past the pool nothing stops. Each subsequent request bills the portion that fell beyond the pool, at myScribe's token rate, onto the card. It appears on the invoice as usage-based charges, not a separate line per feature.
- Shown in Plan & billing as the "AI tokens" bar. The bar is hidden entirely for plans with no pool.

AI Employee "Pro chat" turns
- 200 Pro turns per month, AI Employee only. Counted org-wide, one row per turn.
Included turns cost nothing. Past 200, what happens depends on whether there is a card on file: with one, Pro keeps answering and each turn bills at cost plus markup; without one, chat quietly drops back to the fast model until the allowance resets.
- Shown as the "AI Employee Pro chat" bar in Plan & billing, and in Settings → Usage as "AI chat · Pro" with a recent-turns list.
- If the account has no card on file, the Settings panel adds: "Add a card on file to keep using Pro chat past your monthly turns."
Live voice minutes
- Designed allowances: 10 min (Free) / 90 min (Pro & Legacy) / 450 min (AI Employee) per month, then 5¢ per minute.
Voice is the one place myScribe stops you rather than billing you. When your included minutes are gone, new calls are refused and the panel reads "Included minutes used: voice is paused until the reset", with a countdown to when it comes back. To keep talking now, the workspace owner taps Add time and turns on pay-per-minute voice at $0.05/min: that one tap is the only thing that unlocks it, and only the owner can do it, because it is their card. Members are told to ask them. On Free there is no per-minute option; the offer is Pro.
- Voice sessions are also logged as AI usage, so voice tokens draw down the same AI token pool shown on the billing page, on top of the voice minute allowance.
