Background and location permissions
Open your avatar → Profile → AI sharing → Review AI sharing. Use Enable all AI features for the complete disclosed package, or See services and customize for individual choices, then Allow AI sharing. Saving replaces your complete selected set; existing saved choices are displayed without silently enabling omitted services.
The Enable all AI features checkbox selects every eligible background permission together. In customized choices, Allow background processing for this service lets supported work continue while you are not actively using that feature. Selecting an individual service alone still leaves its background permission unchanged. Background permission does not enable a scheduled feature or restart old work by itself. Each service's saved choice is independent; allowing Jina in the background does not authorize Google processing or another provider's fallback.
To withdraw only background permission, clear that service's background checkbox, keep its main service selected, then Allow AI sharing. Clearing the main service also clears its background permission. Withdraw AI permission clears all saved choices after Confirm withdrawal. A changed disclosure requires a new explicit review; past choices are not carried into it automatically.
Photo analysis with Google Gemini alone does not turn on structured GPS transfer. Image pixels, captions and text may still reveal a place. Photo location context for Google Gemini is a separate choice; structured GPS transfer to Google is currently unavailable even when it is selected. Place lookup with BigDataCloud shares coordinates with that separate recipient. The all-features package includes both location choices, disclosed before saving; individual service selection does not add another recipient.
These permissions do not override feature access, billing or import/participant rights. Changing choices does not restart an earlier job, retract data already sent, or confirm an externally submitted job or meeting bot has stopped. Withdrawal and account deletion are separate actions.
