Signup: required AI processing and payment

myScribe is an AI memory and transcription app. New accounts require an explicit agreement to its core AI processing before account creation. On the signup form:

  1. Enter your email, first name and password.
  2. Read Your AI memory, with your permission. See required services and data lists the providers and data used for typed assistance, transcription, summaries, search indexing and background Memory updates.
  3. Read the privacy policy, then select I agree to the core AI memory and transcription processing described above, including its background processing. Create your account and confirm your email when asked.
  4. I do not agree shows a warning and keeps account creation disabled. No new paid subscription or checkout starts without the required permission. You can return later. Acceptance itself does not authorize a charge; paid plans still have their separate checkout.

Connections are encrypted in transit. myScribe does not sell personal information. Relevant data does go to the named third-party processors, including Google Gemini, Groq, AssemblyAI and Deepgram. This is not a promise of end-to-end encryption, zero risk, or particular provider retention. Optional web search, precise location, voice calls, meeting bots and other import services remain separate choices, not signup requirements.

Existing users can still sign in, view saved content and manage or cancel existing billing. New checkout requests require current core permission; if blocked, review Profile → AI sharing. Permissions can be reviewed or withdrawn there. Withdrawal stops later processing but cannot retract data already sent. It does not automatically cancel a paid subscription; use billing management to cancel. New myAI Studio connections use this same signup requirement rather than creating an account automatically.
